With all the information available on the INTERNET the net is a valuable place for communications hobbyist to share their ideas and data with others. Being an amateur radio operator for many years I have come across many types of equipment, and not always having the documentation, I know how time consuming it is to discover all about a unit to repair, modify or use. To obtain this data from someone who has already gone through this process has made the task that much easier and maybe located on the web. Sometimes it is very hard to find what you are looking for using search engines so I have put together some links to sites that, hopefully, provide the information you are looking for. Anywhere from manufactures to end users that have a wealth of information.

VK1OD on the 'net is a web site that you can check out a collection of articles related to the pursuit of Amateur Radio. This site also contains many calculators from coax type to antenna length to all things an amateur radio operator will need.

CALL SIGN are links to amateur radio operator call sign data bases, where you can look up other hams by using name, address, call sign and other criteria to locate someone you may have worked or heard on the air. Some of the data base sites have maps that pinpoint the exact location of that person. Some ham operators have added data about him or herself, such as e-mail address, web sites and more.

HAM CLUBS are links of mainly amateur radio associations or clubs that are dedicated in promoting ham radio activities. Usually these sites will have local news and activities posted, that you can participate in.

COMMERCIAL links consist of manufactures, retailers of radio equipment and small operations providing products or services to the communication hobbyist. This is the most extensive list of sites and most have links to other sites in their specialty area.

LOCAL SITES are links of Southern California local ham web pages. I hope you will find these sites most interesting.
